A lot of launch videos with stock footage have the same problem. No single clip is bad. Put together, they don't look like one company. Different light, different colour, different faces in every shot.
It's easy to miss. In a storyboard, a stock clip is a small frame with a note next to it. On screen, it can be half the video, and it's what people remember.
What only shows in motion
Some things only show once the video moves. A cast that all looks about the same age, for example. Nobody notices it in a storyboard. In motion, it's obvious.
The fix is to treat footage like the rest of the brand: one consistent look across the whole video, and a recurring cast of people who do the job the product is for, instead of random stock faces.
If your launch video shows people, the footage is part of your brand, not filler. Decide early where it comes from: your brand library, a shoot, or AI footage made for you. Agree on the look and the cast before the storyboard is locked.
One smaller tip: hear the music options before a new version is exported. It saves a round.
