Inlyne

Industry: SaaS, Web Feedback

Challenge & Solution

Inlyne does one job: feedback on live websites and web apps, pinned to the exact element it's about. Every comment carries the URL, the viewport and a screenshot, so the person fixing it never has to ask where.
Web review is still a mess for most teams. Clients send annotated screenshots by email, teammates drop notes in Slack, and half the context is gone by the time it reaches whoever is building. The tools that fix this mostly grew into bug trackers and project managers, priced per seat for bigger teams.
Inlyne goes the other way round. One install, nothing for reviewers to learn, and out of the way once the feedback is in. Feedback where the work is, and nothing else.
We designed the brand, the product and the site. The product came first. A reviewer clicks, types and is done, and that set the bar for everything else. Setup is one script tag, and a browser extension covers pages behind a login, which is what makes Inlyne work for web apps and not only landing pages.
The brand follows the product. Direct, plain and a bit dry, with short sentences and no hype words, because people reach for Inlyne in the middle of a review round and want the answer, not a pitch.
The site speaks to the three groups who live in review rounds: agencies who need client sign-off, developers who want clear tickets, and product teams who want the conversation next to the work. Each got its own page with its own reason to care.
Inlyne is live, with Jira, Trello and ClickUp sync and a prompt that turns a comment thread into instructions for a coding agent. Semiotic's COO Brandon Yao summed up their launch review in one line: “Two review rounds, zero Slack threads, live on launch day.”
